Trevor’s Story
The Guardian
Reading this story today [HERE] following the report in the Telegraph last Thursday strikes close to home. I live in Newham too. I didn’t know Trevor Belle but what happened to him was terrible and should never have happened. My condolences go out to his family and to his partner of many years Kelly Esqulant.
The story mentions that Kelly Esqulant gave her consent for a sample of Trevor’s blood to be used in a project attempting to sequence the genomes of Covid-19 patients and victims to help understand how a person’s genetic makeup could influence susceptibility to the virus. (see details of GenOMICC). I would like to thank Kelly for the kind consideration to others at a very difficult time that is shown in her actions.
